Description
When a rogue automaton is found on the tracks of the Paris-Orléans railway in 1843 France, brilliant engineer Jacqueline Duval uncovers Count Draganov's plot to use the skulls found in the Paris Catacombs to power a clockwork army that would spark an international war. While she follows the clues to stop the Count, aided by the mysterious janissary Elif and handsome railway agent Alain de Guise, her sister Angélique -- a wild bohemienne and lycanthrope -- infiltrates Draganov's inner circle along with British spy Gryffin Llewellyn, where she learns the details of her tragic transformation are tied to Draganov and seeks to exact vengeance. Together the Twins of Bellesfées race against time to stop Draganov and his sorcery.
